Gen2 is the latest member of the Cessna Citation family. Its ancestor was the famous Cessna Citation Excel (Model 560XL) that paved the way for numerous successful midsize business jets later, including the latest C560 XLS+ series.

C560 XLS+ Gen2 came out in 2024 and is able to take up to 9 passengers on board, while flight hosts are optional. When they are on the flight passenger capacity is 8. It is flown by two pilots who are in their cabin during the whole flight.

Its cabin length (cockpit and baggage excluded) is 5.64 m, volume 13.05 m3, maximum headroom 1.73 m, and maximum width 1.68 m.

Compared to the Cessna Citation C560 XLS+ from 2019, Gen2 brings redesigned seats and a modernized galley to the cabin appearance. With a 2,100-nautical-mile range, it remains ideal for local flights, as well as shorter international routes (up to 4.5 hours).

What also differentiates it from the previous model are better soundproofing, improved ambient lighting, wireless CMS with a touchscreen monitor, and USB charging ports at each cabin seat, as well as wireless smartphone charging options.
